AI and Creativity: Exploring the Future of Music, Opera, and the Performing Arts in the Age of Machine Learning
Recently there has been an explosion of interest around the topic of AI and creativity. Just as machine learning is rapidly transforming products and processes across industry, health, and education, so are AI tools being used in the creative industries, including the visual and performing arts.
This public event will explore what’s behind the current wave of artistic interest in robots and AI, and highlight recent advancements in the field of music, opera, and the performing arts. International guest artists from the UK will present cutting edge research and performances that explore potential creative applications of AI and robots, new modes of musician-machine interaction and co-creation.
We invite you to stay for a panel discussion on how new technologies create new forms of artistic expression across opera and the performing arts.
