In this project, we set out to explore mechanics, organics and the difference between them. By diving into the theme of blooming, we research to gain knowledge on the different topics we wanted to implement into our final sculpture like interactivity, breathing life into mechanical objects and the contrast between organic and artificial movement. With the use of a variety of materials to convey the principles of realism and abstraction in an aesthetic way, we shaped the sculpture to be visually pleasurable for the audience and for it to resemble a field of flowers.
