As our theme for the 4th semester is “Place and Space of Interaction”, where we were given the assignment of creating an artwork for the public-urban environment of Karolinelund, we aspired to create an artwork that harmonises with the site, while offering something unusual that can form a distinct playful experience. The artwork Urban Surface consists of six stepping logs made of concrete, that each play an individual note when jumped on.
